Visiting and personal care at home.
Regular, reliable support delivered by a consistent team who know the client — across South London and Kent.
What visiting care is
Visiting care is the most common form of home care. A carer visits at agreed times — morning, lunchtime, evening, or throughout the day — to provide personal care and practical support. The client remains in their own home, maintaining their independence and routine.
Visits can range from 30 minutes to several hours depending on need. The frequency and timing of visits are agreed at the outset and reviewed regularly as needs change.

All support is delivered within staff competency, in line with the personalised care plan, and recorded digitally after every visit.
The Care Circle model
Every visiting care client at Aegys has a Care Circle — a small, consistent team built around them. A named key worker leads the care, supported by dedicated carers who know the client's routine, preferences, and needs.
Families can expect the same familiar faces at every visit. This continuity is not just reassuring — it means carers notice changes in a client's condition, mood, or wellbeing that a stranger would miss.
Who visiting care is for
Visiting care is suitable for adults who want to remain at home but need support with daily living. This includes:
- Older adults who need help with personal care or daily tasks
- Adults recovering from illness, surgery, or a hospital stay
- Individuals who need medication support or monitoring
- People living with dementia or cognitive impairment
- People with physical disabilities or long-term health conditions
- Those who would benefit from regular companionship and wellbeing checks
How to get started
Getting care started begins with a free home assessment. A senior member of the Aegys team visits at a time that suits, listens to the individual's needs and preferences, and creates a personalised care plan together with the client and family.
For non-complex care, the service can typically begin within 24 to 48 hours of assessment. For hospital discharge or complex packages, management oversight is provided from the first visit.
To arrange a free assessment or discuss care needs, call 0203 747 4733 or email [email protected]. The team is available seven days a week.
