Who we are
Aegys Homecare Services is a nurse-led, CQC-registered home care group providing personal care, complex care, and live-in support to adults in their own homes across South London and Kent.
The group operates two CQC-registered locations. Aegys Smart Care serves Croydon and South London, rated Good across all five domains following the January2026 inspection. Aegys Homecare Bromley and Kent serves the London Borough of Bromley and surrounding Kent districts, operating under the same nurse-led model and registered manager oversight.
The Care Circle model
At the heart of the Aegys approach is the Care Circle model. Every client has a small, consistent team built around them, a named key worker, two dedicated carers familiar with their routine, and two standby carers already briefed on their needs. Management oversight is maintained throughout.
Continuity matters. Familiar faces reduce anxiety, build trust, and mean carers notice changes in a client's condition that a stranger would not. It is not just good practice, it is how safe, dignified care is delivered.
Leadership and clinical oversight
Aegys Homecare Services is led by an experienced registered nurse with over 16 years of experience across adult social care, acute hospital settings, and district nursing. Clinical governance, staff training and competency, safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance are all managed at registered manager level.
The wider team includes registered nurses, healthcare assistants, care coordinators, and support staff, all recruited against values-based criteria and trained to the standards required by the CQC and the service's internal governance framework.
Nurse-led oversight is not a description — it is embedded in how care is planned, delivered, and reviewed for every client.

All care is person-centred, risk assessed, and delivered within staff competency and the agreed care plan.
Regulated and rated
Aegys Homecare Services is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Aegys Smart Care is rated Good across all five domains — Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led — following the inspection report published in January 2026.
Both locations are registered for two regulated activities: Personal Care and Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury. This dual registration means Aegys can support people with both standard and complex care needs at home, under registered nurse oversight.
