Live-In Care (24/7 Support at Home)

Live-in care keeps life familiar—your routines, pets, and community—while providing continuous, one-to-one support day and night. A dedicated carer lives in your home to deliver personal care, medication support, nutritious meals, safe mobility, and housekeeping, with companionship and meaningful activities woven through the day. It’s ideal if you want round-the-clock reassurance without moving to residential care, are living with dementia, Parkinson’s, or complex mobility needs, are at higher risk of falls, or if a couple needs support (often more cost-effective than two separate packages).

What’s included: 24/7 daily living support; skin integrity checks and pressure-area prevention; continence care and safe transfers; specialist tasks where assessed (e.g., PEG feeding, catheter/stoma support, diabetes care, end-of-life comfort); night-time help (settling or waking nights).

How it works: We complete a comprehensive assessment and risk review, then match you with a compatible carer (or small rota) based on skills, personality, language, and preferences. You provide a private room, and the carer has a standard daily 2-hour break. Nurse-led reviews and swift adjustments keep your plan responsive as needs change.

Safety & transparency: CQC-regulated service, enhanced-DBS checked staff trained in moving & handling, medication, first aid, infection control, and dementia awareness. Digital MARs, exception alerts, and scheduled audits underpin medication safety. Our Family Transparency Portal (with consent) shows real-time notes, meds, and messages so everyone stays in the loop.

A day with live-in care might look like: Morning wash and dress, breakfast and meds, light exercise; afternoon meal prep, hobbies, hydration prompts, or a short outing; evening supper, meds, skin checks, and an unhurried bedtime routine—plus agreed night support for total peace of mind.
